11th June 2006 - Well done Everyone that competed at the Grades 3/4/5/6/8 Northern competition held at Brierton Sports Centre in Hartlepool. VerteX had a very successful day with 1 qualifier to Grade 3 - Danielle Spears and 2 near misses for Grade 2 !.

12th March 2006 - Well done Everyone that competed in the National School Finals - Held at the Cocks Moor Woods Leisure Centre, Birmingham. The Ashington High School Girls (Rachel Hogg, Kristy Norris & Rebecca Turnbull) formed team in the U19 Open, while Simon Hunter represented Hirst High School in the U19 Boys Closed event.

22nd January 2006 - Well done Everyone that competed in the Northern Zonal School's competition today. The competition was held at Woodford Leisure Centre in Hull!. Well done to VerteX members who competed - with Simon (U19B Closed) & Gail (U19G Open) qualifying as individuals to the School National's and the Ashington High School U19 Girls Open team - Gail K, Rachel H, Kristy N & Becca T - achieving 1st position. Also well done to Apollo's members competing over the weekend - with Chloe 1st, Maya 2nd, Katie 3rd and Emily 2nd.

15th January 2006 - Today the first Grades 3-6 competition was held for the northern region at Washington Leisure Centre - home to Apollo Trampoline Club. This is the first competition that has been judged under the new judging rules!. VerteX had a successful day with loads of trophy winners !. Well done everyone that competed.

23rd December 2005 - Today was our last session of 2005. Every year we have a Pile Up for our session before Christmas !!. We also tried a 6-way synchro at the end of the session.

3rd December 2005 - Well done Everyone that competed in this years regional schools competition (3rd December 2005). 6 VerteX members are through to the school semi-finals as individuals and Ashington High School Girls team are once again the regional champions. The school Zonal championships will be held in Hull, January 2006.

26th November 2005 - Well Done Rachel Hogg, Pippi firth and Harry firth competing at the Grade 2 Nationals today representing VerteX. Pippi finished 32nd in the U15 Girls, Rachel 26th in the U18 girls and Harry 8th in the U13 boys.

17th November 2005 - Published in today's 'News Post Leader' (November 17th!) is a picture of Lee and Harry with their age group trophies from the Northern Championships. Even though the Northern was a month ago and they spelt our club name as "Virtex" !!!

5th November 2005- Today VerteX had our sponsored dip event !. Everyone had a great day and hopefully raised a lot of money for the club !.

2n3/3rd July 2005 - Well done to Gail Kozlowski who is the first ever VerteX/Team lambda member to have competed at a British National Final (Grade 1). The competition was held on the 2nd/3rd July 2005 and held at the NIA, Birmingham. Gail finished 12th in the U18 Girls category.

5th June 2005 - Well done to VerteX members who competed at the 3rd regional grading competition held at the Sands Centre in Carlisle, where Carlisle Trampoline Club train. Everyone had a great day and the competition was very well organised for only having 2 panels !!. Well done Shannon who won her first ever trophy by finishing 2nd in her group !! :>

26th May 05 - The clubs very first Eurotramp came today and was named Newton by Pam. The club now has 3 Unitramps named Yoda, Cat and Cody, and a Eurotramp named Newton !.

3rd April 2005 - Well done to VerteX members competing at the 2nd Graded competition of the year held at Gateshead Leisure Centre. 3rd March 2005 - Well done to Vertex members competing for their schools in the National Schools Final trampoline competition held at Port Talbolt (Wales).
Gail Kozlowski, Rachel Hogg, Emma Borthwick and Shauna Hodge representing Ashington High School are British Champions for the U15 Girls Open team event, coming 1st place!!
With Eddy Campbell, Simon Hunter and Lee Scott ranked 4th best U19 Boys team for the closed event representing Hirst High School.
Pippi Firth's team representing The Kings school ranked 6th best U13 Girls team in the Open event.
Harry Firth ranked 8th as an Individual for the U11 Boys Open event representing The Kings school.

5th February 2005 - Well done to Pippi Firth, Rachel Hogg and Harry firth who competed at the Grade 2 in Newry (5th Feb). Rachel and Harry finished 2nd. Also well done to the STGC (South Tyneside Gym Club) competitors who travelled to Newry with VerteX, with Craig, Adam and Katie all coming 1st !.

23rd January 2005 - Well done to Vertex members competing for their schools in the 2nd round of the Schools competition - the Zonals, held at Copley High School, Manchester. Quite a few from Vertex are though to the National Finals, which will be held in Wales this March :-). Good Luck !!

December 5th 2004 - Regional Schools - Well done to Vertex members competing for their schools at this years regional schools competition ! (December 5th). 16 people from our club and Ashington schools are though to the 2nd round which is taking place in Manchester, January 2005. Results for the schools competition coming soon !!

November 27th 2004 - Well done to Rachel Hogg, Gail Kozlowski and Pippi Firth who competed at the Grade 2 Nationals in Bournemouth (November 27th). Rachel placed 38th and Gail placed 18th for the U15 Girls group and Pippi placed 19th for the U13 Girls group. This gives them a rank in the UK for their age group and grade !.
Well Done ! From everyone at the club !

 

October 3rd 2004 - Ashington Graded Competition - Well done to Vertex club members who competed at the graded competition !! This is the first competition for which people competed under the new club name - Vertex !. - Report coming soon !
