We set off at about
8 o’clock to pick Rachel and Emma up, and then on
to get the mini bus then on to the sports centre to
collect everyone. When every one arrived (guess who was last to come if you
guessed Gail you were 100% correct) anyway when everyone arrived we set off to lightfoot stadium to pick up Jazz who we said we would take her to Wales so
after getting Jazz, we had one more stop to make which was the one and only
Gary York with Dawn and Lewis then we were off to Wales. As we set off we all
talked for about two-three hours then we stopped for the toilet etc… When we got back on the bus Shauna, Lee,
Lewis, Hunta and I watched Spongebob Squarepants the Movie it was quite
different that’s all I can say. When that had finished Emma and Gail pinched
mine and Shauna’s seat so they could go to sleep so me and Shauna took there
seat then sat and talked for about another two to three hours then we finally
arrived at the travel inn. When we got settled into the rooms Shauna and I went
to see Hunta, Lee, Eddy and Harry’s room. Then at about 7 ‘o’ clock we went for
a meal at the pub next door, when we had to order Shauna was scared to order so
I had to order for her. When the food finally came they got it all mixed up,
when they gave Shauna her tea she took a bite and then they took it away from
her (after she hid the bite by putting chips over it) saying it was the wrong
meal and as they were taking it away from her the waiter dropped the knife on
Jazz and nearly cut her then they gave the meal to lee and everyone was trying
not to laugh. After the meal Shauna, Rachel, Eddy, Hunta and I went up the spar
for some bottles of water and sweets for the competition the next day. When we
got back from the spar we just went to bed because we had to get up early the
next morning. In the morning we had to leave the travel inn by 8 ‘o’ clock so
we went to McDonalds for breakfast. When we got to the leisure centre it took
us about 10 minutes to actually find our way in to the centre Harry was the
first to compete and he finished 8th so he is now ranked 8th
in the country for under 11 boys open, at about 10 ‘o’ clock Rachel and I went
swimming for about an hour and a half, it was my turn to compete next with my
team, when we finished competing we came 6th so well done to
everyone in my team. Then it was the under 15 girls open when they finished they
found out that they were now the British champions when Rachel found out she
phoned Shauna when she could have just told her because she was only across the
hall from her and after that Gail told us that she finished 4th
individually. Before Lee Simon and Eddy competed me and Shauna went to get or
picture taken but it would not print so Shauna lay on the floor and tried to
get the picture out of the machine while I had a laughing fit, then it was Lee,
Eddy and Simons turn to compete when they finished they were 4th the
last person to compete was Jazz and she finished 5th. After the
presentation we started to head back but Gail was complaining she was hungry so
we went to McDonalds before we started to head off then about an hour later
Gail said she was going to wet herself so we had to stop but I think we should
have just kept driving just for the fun of it. When we were about half way back
Harry nearly fell out the bus as we turned the corner because the bus was
rubbish because the door did not lock so we had to tie it shut with a piece of
string which was not very successful. After about an hour or so later we
arrived at
Gary’s house then more or less everyone was awake and Shauna kept
falling off her seat it was really very funny. It then took us about an hour to
drop everyone else off then we were home for about 2 ‘o’ clock and over all I
would say it is one of the best trips I have been on so far!!!!
